This 1968, triple-black Volkswagen Cabriolet is owned by good friend and fellow VWCP member Bunny Evangelista. It was previously the property of another VWCP member and local VW legend, Ed Roces. I took the liberty of lowering his Cabrio and “enlarging” the stock 15 inch chrome Sprintstars to an unbelievable 18 inches. Adequate low profile rubbers really fill up the fenderwells. Bunny wants to change the color. British racing green with a tan top is the current favorite but I personally love deep, shiny black on VWs, especially on Cabriolets. I hope he doesn’t change the color. Oh, and a dark blood red interior will really make it POP!
