Keep on believing in me….and your next move will be your best move. Green for the money, gold for the honey. I’m in motion, just like the ocean. All a b*tch gotta do is come on drink some of this love potion (Owens & Shepard, 1998)
Remember the saying “No money, no honey”? Here’s a Volkswagen Concept for the pimp in all of us
Green For The Money, Gold For The Honey is a Volkswagen Concept that takes the lowly VW Bug to another level of “The Game!” Players, Pimps, and Macks are those at the top. The most paramount rule in the game is, “the pimp must get paid” There can’t be any “shame in your game” Second, the game is “sold”, not “told.” He has to develop his rap, a series of persuasive poetic and rhymic scats about life and making money.
G4TMG4TH patterns a Rolls Royce hood and decklid to fit on an early VW Beetle. Green and Gold paint glisten in the sun and a fortune in gold . . . bumpers, trim, wheels and ‘caps, and the enourmous Rolls Royce grille and “Flying Lady” mascot embellish the “Rollswagen”.
Some still dont believe how much it shines and pictures can only show so much, so dont hurt your eyes now.
bought the car here in manila but the car came from cebu (previous owner)
Posted by volkspinoy at May 17, 2009, 6:52 pmYou put an aircon unit on your karmann ghia, (1) Did it increase your oil temp? (2) Do you have an oil temp gauge?
Posted by bat at May 19, 2009, 10:43 amI did put an aircon. The temp remained the same even with the aircon running at full blast. The key is that the engine should be good even before adding the extra strain of the compressor. Otherwise, if your engine is already tired and overheating, the aircon will surely destroy it. Second, bring your VW to a real good aircon installer who knows his VW. While they might not be the cheapest, they know what brackets, compressors, condensers, and pulleys to use. No experimenting. I haven't had any problems with my aircon because the setup is proven, reliable and strong. research first before you commit
Posted by volkspinoy at May 19, 2009, 11:35 amI am looking for rolls royce grill like the one on your picture. Where can I buy one? I have the hood and the old grill that looks like your picture.
Posted by Emilio Barrera at February 24, 2010, 9:25 amEmilio, I don’t know where to get the Rolls Grille. Besides, there are very few RRs here. What you can do is get a good tinsmith to make one for you and then get ‘em plated

Thanks for the kind words
Dear Dennis,
Posted by bat at May 17, 2009, 4:06 pmI have noticed that your VW sports a Cebu plate, why did you buy a Cebu unit instead of a Manila unit? And for how much?
